Managed Chaos, LLC, was born when it came time for founder Laura Forbis to clean out her parents’ estate. Her ability to look at a chaotic space and make it functional makes an otherwise difficult task much easier.
Her background as a music director at Immaculate Conception for almost 18 years also prepared her to help others.
Laura has worked with people at baptisms and funerals, at some of their happiest or worst parts of their life and I learned how to listen. Laura does not pretend to know what’s important to a family. She works with the family to learn what’s important, what’s valuable, and finds a way to honor that during the process.

My husband and I recently implemented the Paleo diet into our lifestyle. As we prepped our meals together, we often found ourselves in each other’s way while reaching for kitchen tools. We requested Managed Chaos’ help in organizing our kitchen. When she came to our house for the initial consultation, she gave us some fresh ideas on arranging the counter spaces, but told us we didn’t need her help! We incorporated her tips when we rearranged the counter spaces and LOVE it! The heavy stand mixer has a new home on the counter (no more heavy lifting!). Various cooking tools are more readily available to us as we prepare our meals. Managed Chaos’ objective perspective gave us a fresh new plan that we could implement ourselves.
Laura truly has a passion to help turn those who have a little, or a lot, of chaos into something they can manage again!
